Our Story

Active Motion Physical Therapy was founded because Dr. Will Davis knew the profession of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy could do better. Over the last few years of working in various clinics Will saw first hand how insurance companies try to dictate the value of physical therapy services as they apply to patient care. This is truly not in the best interest for the patient, or the physical therapist, as it limits services the patient could be receiving. Will additionally saw how several people did not understand the extremely powerful role a physical therapist could play in helping them live a better, healthier life. As a physical therapist, Will is an expert at evaluating and treating musculoskeletal and movement dysfunctions. When people hear “physical therapy”, most people think “pain”. The truth is, you don’t have to wait to be in pain before seeking the help of a physical therapist in order to improve your movement health, quality, or performance. You simply need to realize you want to start improving your quality of life!
